When the Government announced nationwide lock-down measures on 23rd March 2020, we had the idea to create a radio streaming service to keep our fellow neighbours entertained, supported and informed through the uncertain times and lockdown that lay ahead.

We originally planned to run the service for three months – but the response from our listeners was overwhelming, leading us to develop a full-scale community radio station for Lymm and South Warrington.

Some people will feel unwell after their Covid vaccine - but  doctors say that that is entirely normal and to be expected.

More than one in 10 people may feel after-effects, including headache, tiredness and tenderness where the injection was given.  Experts say that these symptoms should only last a couple of days.

Prof Martin Marshall, from the Royal College of GPs has advised that you shoud rest and treat conditions with painkillers, such as paracetemol.

However, if your symptoms become much worse or cause concern, you should seek medical help by calling 111 or your GP.  As always, in an emergency you should call 999.
