Lymm Radio was proud to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual international health campaign which is organised by major breast cancer charities to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis and cure.  The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.

Throughout the month Dr Rosie, our resident GP offered updates on our regular health bulletins and on Friday 23rd October, as we all went pink for the day – Smithy’s special guest on the morning show was Lester Barr, Consultant Surgeon and Chair of Prevent Breast Cancer Charity, based at the Nightingale Centre, Wythenshawe Hospital.  You can listen again to this special broadcast by clicking the button below.
