Mince Pie Puffs

Ingredients

1 sheet of ready rolled puff pastry

1 jar mincemeat

1 egg beaten

Icing sugar to decorate

Method

Unwrap your pastry so that it is a flat sheet.

Divide the pastry into 12 squares. Place on a lined baking tray.

Using a round biscuit cutter, score the pastry squares so you have a circle outline in the middle of the square (dont cut all the way through the pastry)

Add a good heaped teaspoon or two of mincemeat into the scored circle.

With a pastry brush, brush the pastry round the mincemeat with the beaten egg and bake for 15 mins (or till golden) Gas 6  200ºC

Leave to cool completely on a wire rack then dust with icing sugar to serve.
