page title icon A NEW CENTRE FOR PERFORMING ARTS IN LYMM – HAVE YOUR SAY

We were delighted to welcome Kieren Walshe, Chair of Lymm Performing Arts Working Group to our morning studio.  You can listen again right here.

The aim of the group is to design, build and run a new centre of excellence for the performing arts in Lymm.  The facility is to be built at Lymm High School and will provide professional facilities that are flexible, affordable and accessible to performers and audiences alike.  The centre will make a real difference to our community.

The project is expected to cost £2-3 Million.  The group will be seeing funding from a range of sources. A shared funding model is anticipated, with funding and support from local and central government, contributions from other funding organisations, and with a substantial requirement for community and charitable fundraising. If you can help with funding, please do get in touch via the website.

Several high-profile people, including Andy Carter MP and Stephen Broomhead, Chief Executive WBC are supporting the project – and you are invited to have your say and show your support too.  Find out more at the Lymm Performing Arts Website.

Thanks for coming in to see us Kieren and the best of luck with this exciting project!
