During the survey period, we had 11,065 individual connections (this doesn’t exactly mean “listeners” as of course, there can be more than one person listening on each connection) and our listeners tuned in on average for 32 minutes each time.
Lymm Radio’s target audience of 30 to 55 year olds in the South Warrington area is a compelling reason to make us part of your advertising mix. Our listeners traditionally have a high disposable income, a discerning attitude and are the decision makers in life.

Standard airtime is 20 seconds – this is ideal for promoting your message with a call to action. If you have more to say (up to 80 words) or have a sung jingle, then our 30 second airtime is for you.
Simply select your airtime package and how many times a day you would like your advert to be played. Please note “plays per day” means during our peak hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. All packages will receive an unspecified amount of bonus plays outside of these hours, at no additional charge.
Commercial Production: This is the creation of your audio advert (the audio) and is charged in addition to the airtime package. Our service costs as little as £50 depending on the package you choose – but if you already have a commercial produced by yourself or another production company, we will gladly accept it as long as you have the relevant supporting documentation. Please check our FAQ section below for further details.
NEW: You can now pay for your airtime campaign by credit or debit card at no additional cost. Existing advertisers who are renewing campaigns (or taking out a new one) also have the option of paying monthly at no additional cost.
Commercial production is the making of your radio advert. This includes writing the copy, the voice artist, background music or sound effects – and the clearance process via Radio Centre.
For all first time advertisers: All packages (including the making of your radio commercial) are due on order, in advance of your campaign start date. Please note that campaigns are better value the longer you can commit to. Payment can be made by bank transfer – or via credit / debit card online, at no additional cost. You’ll receive details with your order confirmation email.
For existing advertisers (campaign renewals and new campaigns) payment can be made by bank transfer, credit card or by monthly standing order.
Yes of course! If you already have an advert made by another production company we’ll be happy to accept it providing it is accompanied by the clearance certificate from Radio Centre and you provide MCPS / PRS details for any music used.
You are also welcome to write your own script – and to come to our studio to voice it, though normal commercial production charges apply.
If you’ve purchased a 3, 6 or 12 month package, you can terminate early by giving one months notice. Airtime taken up to and including the cancellation date will be re-calculated and applied at the weekly rate. If commercial production was provided FOC, a charge of £75 will also apply. Please see our terms and conditions for more details.
We can arrange it for you, but the process is time consuming and you’ll need deep pockets. The process involves getting approval from the songwriters, the music publishers and the record label. Normally, if approval is given the licence only lasts for 3 months and it can cost several thousand pounds.
Our commercial production service includes the use of library music, which is far more cost-effective!
Yes, of course! If you would like to discuss sponsorship opportunities please get in touch. Sponsoring a feature (such as the weather or community action desk) together with advertising is a great way for you to engage and get a response from our listeners. Sponsorship keeps your name in mind, advertising provides a call to action – i.e. helps bring customers through the door.
